1. Do you have anything to do with Natalie Portman or George Lucas? Because I'd love to get in touch with him/her!
No, period. I don't know them, I have nothing to do with them and I have no idea how to get in touch with them. It's important that you understand this: Padmé's Wardrobe is just a Star Wars fansite (made by fans for fans).
Also, I don't think Miss Portman or Mr Lucas have ever visited the site (but if they have, well I hope they enjoyed their stay!)
2. So, what's this site all about anyway?
It started out as an archive for Queen Amidala's dresses in The Phantom Menace, and then I guess it evolved. It is basically an image bank with all of Padmé's images and a lot of updates. My goal is to gather as much images of Padme Amidala as I can, for fanartists to use, for costume-makers to base their work on, and for Star Wars fans to collect.
3. I like the layout, how did you made it?
With a lot of effort :) I made the graphics using Photoshop 7.0 and Photoshop CS2 and the rest was handcoded entirely by myself on Notepad. In case you are interested in learning how to use Photoshop, please visit my resource site The Magic Box for some tutorials and a lot of links you might find useful.

4. Could you make a layout/graphic for me please?
Right now I only make commissioned designs by request; if you are interested in hiring me as a web/graphic designer, please head over to my Design website The Magic Box Designs. If you don't want to spend any money, there are some free templates there that you can download!
5. Can I help/cooperate with this site somehow?
Of course! There are five great ways to help Padme's Wardrobe right now:
1. Send me images that are not in the galleries (or bigger versions of the ones we already have). From Star Wars books, magazines, anything you can put your hands on!
2. Send in fanfiction! We have a great fanfic page and all fanfics are welcome ;) (Read about it here)
3. Feedback on the comments and by e-mail is always a huge help! Let me know how you feel about PW!
4. You can submit news that you think might be important or worth posting here. Not all news are posted though, but I read them all.
6. Where do you get all your news from?
Usually, I spend an hour or two surfing the internet in search of Padme and StarWars related news (Forums, magazines...), but my biggest "news suppliers" are The Official Site, my dear affiliates Desiring Hayden, The Padawan's Guide and Anakin and His Angel, and the great guys at Natalie Portman.com.
7. I just opened a SW site: can I post your pictures there?
All Star Wars pictures are property of Lucasfilms Ltd. so claiming them as mine would be a big mistake. You can take any image (fanart NOT included of course) since I am not their rightful owner.
However, some of the scans and screencaptures took me long hours to edit/post, so a link back here would be much appreciated if you post them on another website.
8. I have a SW site, but I don't have much space in my server: Can I link directly to your images?
Absolutely no. That's completely illegal: it's called hot linking or direct linking. You see, I pay for this domain, and my host pays for the bandwidth. When you direct link to my images, you are stealing my bandwidth. If you want to know more about this and other "cyber-crimes", visit this site: R.I.G.H.T.S. Be warned: we will take whatever measures I consider necessary against hotlinkers (including legal action).
9. Can I use your fanart/wallpapers to make a layout for my site?
Again, the answer is no. It may not sound like a big deal for you, but it is for me: my artwork can not be altered in any way, shape or form, and can not be used other than as a wallpaper on your personal computer. Besides, I know it sounds lame but creating your own stuff is much more rewarding.
Don't you remember how much my site sucked when I started? Well, I tried and I tried and I practiced and in the end, I made it look better!
ABOUT THE FORUM
1. I registered, but I never got the confirmation e-mail, why?
A confirmation e-mail is ALWAYS automatically (and inmediately) sent when you register in the Padme's Corner Forum. The problem is that a lot of times that e-mail gets sorted into the junk mail folder of your e-mail. So first check your junk mail folder, and if it isn't there, then E-mail me about it and I will activate your username manually.
2. How come there are signature size restrictions?
The signature restrictions were created for two simple reasons:
1. Big signatures make the forum incredibly slow to load for users who have slow internet connexions.
2. The forum is made of tables: a huge signature will resize all forum tables, thus messing the entire forum layout.
3. Why is double posting not allowed? I don't see the harm!
If you need to post something else in addition to something you just posted, all you have to do is edit your first post. Double posting is most commonly used to boost a topic or to boost one's post count: none of those actions are allowed on Padme's Corner, hence the no-double-posting.
4. Can I be a moderator?
Right now we are not looking for moderators, but thanks for your interest!
